Jason Gross
November 2023 Academic Outstanding Student
Jason Gross is from Northern Virginia and currently a sophomore, majoring in biological sciences and with a CGPA of 3.73. He has two older brothers and was originally born in Oklahoma. Jason says that the best thing about being a black male student is that it is a tight-knit circle and black students always have a good time together. He desires to become a sports medical doctor for a professional sports team, and his post-Virginia Tech aspiration is to go to medical school.
Jason says that although he does not have a specific role model, the doctors that saved Damar Hamlin’s life are the kind of people that he looks up to and hope to embody them when he becomes older. During his free time, he likes to play basketball, football, watch shows and try different foods.
