Benjamin Adjepong

April 2023 Academic Outstanding Student

Benjamin Adjepong is from Chesapeake, Virginia and he is a sophomore in Computer Engineering who plans to have a primary focus on Software Systems and a secondary focus on Machine Learning. Benja is on a CGPA of 3.65. He says the best thing about being a black male student at Virginia Tech is the support within the black community.

Benjamin enjoys listening to music while skating around campus and e-skating with friends. His post-Virginia Tech aspiration is to continue growing as an individual and his career dream is to have the skills needed to be a top-notch embedded software engineer. He is affiliated with the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and African Student Association (ASA) and he says his mother is his role model because she is a very hard working person who motivates him to work harder every day.
