Hi, my name is Anu and I'm currently a senior at Virginia Tech studying FinTech and Big Data Analytics. I tutor finance and business classes mostly, and I especially enjoy finance and analytics because I like seeing how numbers can be used to solve real-world problems. My approach to tutoring is hands-on and focused on making difficult concepts feel more manageable. I'm strongest at helping students break down problems step by step and understand the reasoning behind an answer instead of just memorizing how to get there. Outside of academics, I enjoy swimming and going on hikes. I became a tutor because I know how helpful it can be to have someone explain a concept in a different way when it just isn't clicking. When we work together, you can expect a supportive and interactive session where we identify what you're struggling with, work through examples together, and focus on making sure you feel confident solving similar problems on your own.
