Hi, I'm Connor Hawthorne. I' currently a sophomore studying Chemical Engineering. I tutor introductory Physics, Biology, and Multivariable Calculus, and I especially enjoy tutoring Physics.
My approach is to build a strong understanding of the fundamentals before tackling more difficult problems. I'm particularly good at helping students break down quantitative, real-world problems and connect them to first principles rather than simply memorizing formulas.
In a tutoring session with me, you can expect to work through challenging practice problems, identify where you're getting stuck and develop an approach to solving problems.
Outside of academics, I enjoy running, lifting, and playing intramural sports.
