Hi, I'm Thomas! I'm currently a junior studying CMDA with a concentration in Physics and astronomy minor. I tutor physics and math.
My approach to tutoring is to be patient and focus on one thing at a time. I'm strongest at helping students break down overwhelming problems into manageable parts.
Outside of academics, I have many hobbies, but I especially like to train calisthenics and paint watercolors. I became a tutor because it’ll be a good learning experience if I want to be a professor one day.
When we work together, you can expect us to start with a short conversation where we’ll discuss your strengths, weaknesses, and a good goal for the session. Our goal could be to understand a specific topic, find a good study strategy, finish a practice problem, etc. My goal with every session is to improve your confidence with the subject.
