Hi! I’m Srija Aluri, and I’m currently a junior majoring in Biochemistry. I tutor physics, biology, statistics, and organic chemistry, and love breaking down biochemical pathways because everything ends up connecting together.
My approach to tutoring, especially for denser subjects and topics, is practice question-based, taking time to work through the reasoning behind each problem. I’m best at helping students with figuring out what study style works for them, as well as deconstructing complex multi-step problems into manageable pieces.
Outside of academics, I love to garden and hike! I became a tutor because I know how intimidating STEM courses can feel, and I want to help students build confidence in their problem-solving skills.
When we work together, you can expect that during a session, we’ll work in a patient, collaborative space focused on improvement in any subject, as well as on building lasting study strategies.
