Hi, I'm Rosario! I'm a senior studying Mechanical Engineering at Virginia Tech. I tutor General Chemistry, Calculus of a Single Variable, Statics, Numerical Analysis, Deforms, and Thermodynamics. My favorite subject is Deforms because I enjoy seeing how the concepts connect to real engineering applications.
My tutoring style focuses on building a strong understanding of the core concepts before working through practice problems together. I think students learn best by solving problems themselves, with guidance whenever they get stuck. One of my biggest strengths is breaking difficult topics into smaller, more manageable pieces that are easier to understand.
Outside of school, I enjoy golfing and lifting. I became a tutor after helping my friends study and realizing how much I enjoyed teaching. During our sessions, you can expect an efficient, supportive environment where we make the most of our time together.
