Hi, I’m Mary! I’m a senior studying Exercise and Health Sciences, and this will be my second year as a tutor for the SSC. I tutor biology, psychology, and elementary calculus, and I especially enjoy helping students understand how complex ideas connect to real life.
My tutoring approach is patient, encouraging, and centered on building confidence. I work with students to identify where they are getting stuck, break difficult concepts into manageable steps, and practice applying what they have learned. I want students to leave each session feeling more capable and prepared to work independently.
Outside of academics, I enjoy yoga, baking, and spending time with friends. I became a tutor because I find it rewarding to help students succeed. During our sessions, you can expect a welcoming environment where questions are encouraged, and we work together toward your individual goals.
