Hello, my name is Morgan! I am a Junior Microbiology major, and I tutor in Introductory Biology and General Chemistry courses, as well as Biological Statistics and Introductory Psychology.
I became a tutor because I love helping turn what can feel like memorization-based courses into easily understood and applied systems, especially in my favorite subject, biology. Diagrams and mechanisms are my specialty! They help turn a complicated course into a comprehensible one.
When we work together, you can expect an approach that focuses on the big picture and overall functions to explain the details of the class. I find diagrams and one pagers to be fantastic tools in helping visualize core concepts.
When I'm not studying for classes, I love going on hikes. It's a nice mental break to see nature in action!
