Hi, my name is Gautam Deshpande! I'm currently a junior studying Mechanical Engineering. I tutor ESM 2104, ESM 2304, MATH 1226, MATH 2114, ME 2004, ME 2134, and PHYS 2305. I especially enjoy math and engineering courses because I love the problem-solving involved and helping others work through challenging concepts.
My approach to tutoring is patient and thorough, and I like to make sure students understand each step before moving on. I'm strongest at helping students break down difficult problems, explaining concepts clearly, and building the confidence to solve problems independently.
Outside of academics, I enjoy playing guitar and basketball with my friends. I became a tutor because I enjoy teaching concepts that make sense to me but may be challenging for others.
