Hi, I'm Vaughn! I'm originally from Miami, FL, and currently a junior studying industrial systems engineering. I tutor Pre-Calc, Calc 1, Principles of Economics, Engineering Economy, Physics 2305, and any other intro-level ISE courses. My area of expertise is Pre-Calc and Calc 1 (1225).
My approach to tutoring is starting out with an intro of the problem/concept, understanding what the student had tried, and working through it together. I'm strongest at helping students with math, creating a step-by-step approach they can follow.
Outside of school, I like to play tennis and watch movies. I became a tutor because I had a great Calc 1 teacher freshman year, and I want to give the same guidance to other students.
When we work together, you can expect me to make a lot of friendly small talk and make sure you leave with a better understanding of the subject.
