Brandon Stokes serves as the Program Manager at the Student Success Center, where he leads the Peer Academic Coach (PAC) program and provides professional academic coaching. He also manages the office’s communications and outreach initiatives. A proud Hokie alum, Brandon has called Southwest Virginia home his entire life, with roots in Martinsville, Virginia.
In 2022, he earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Political Science (with a focus on national security) and Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, along with a minor in Business. During his undergraduate years, Brandon was actively involved in community engagement and held several leadership roles, including membership in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
Following graduation, he continued his commitment to student success by serving as Program Manager for Student Opportunities and Achievement Resources before stepping into his current role. He takes pride in giving back to the community that helped shape his journey and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Public Administration.
Outside of work, Brandon enjoys traveling, discovering new experiences, watching sports, debating hot topics, introverting on TikTok, and—most importantly—making memories with friends and family.
