Annie Eick

Annie Eick is a graduate assistant at the Student Success Center working with peer academic coaches. Annie graduated from Virginia Tech in 2019 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. During her time at VT, Annie worked as coordinator for the Center for Applied Behavior Systems research lab, and presented her research on positive psychology across Virginia and North Carolina.  Following graduation, she worked as an instructional assistant, behavior technician, and finally a lifespan neuropsychometrist before returning to VT to pursue a degree in counseling. She is currently in her final year of VT’s Master’s of Clinical Mental Health Counseling program with a focus on counseling older adults and trauma work. She is interning at Warm Hearth Village where she will provide counseling to older adults in independent living as well as long term care.

Outside of work, Annie enjoys crocheting, baking, and hanging out with friends and family.
