Peer Academic Coaching and SSC Ambassadors
What is Peer Academic Coaching?
Our Peer Academic Coaching Program (PAC) was created to help all students get the one-on-one support they need to be successful at Virginia Tech. Our trained Peer Academic Coaches (PAC) are available to help you develop the habits and skills you need to succeed! All students are welcome to stop in to see a coach during walk-in hours or they can meet on a by-appointment basis. Information about all visit options can be found below.
Peer Academic Coaching appointments
Want to make sure you don't have to wait? Would you prefer to set a specific time to meet with a PAC? Students have the option to schedule an appointment online. Check-in for all appointments takes place in 110 Femoyer Hall.
Weekly coaching requests
Students can request to meet with a peer coach on a weekly basis throughout the semester. Space for weekly appointments is limited and participants are accepted until the program is full and as additional spots open during the semester.

Ambassadors participate in the marketing and promotion of SSC programs and services, may assist SSC staff with various programs/projects, and represent the Student Success Center at various campus events. Applicants should have a strong desire to help their peers be successful and support the Student Success Center's vision to promote academic excellence and enrich the overall undergraduate experience at Virginia Tech.
