Dear Esteemed Sponsors and Partners,

The 9th Annual Uplifting Black Men Conference was a huge success this year once again. We had close to 300 participants from all over the commonwealth attend the event in February. A special thank you goes out to the incredible Conference Committee for their hard work and dedication in orchestrating this event. Your tireless efforts have not gone unnoticed, and we are truly grateful for all that you have done.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors and partners for your unwavering support and generous contributions that have made this year's conference a resounding success. Your dedication to our cause has truly made a difference and we are immensely grateful for your partnership.

We also want to express our deepest appreciation to all the volunteers, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., Virginia Tech’s Diggin’ in The Crates (VTDIC), the Symposium committee for a successful symposium and award ceremony, and a special mention to Wayne Scales, Tommy Amal, and Trey Waller, our honorees, for their exceptional contributions that have enriched both our conference experience and the Virginia Tech as a whole. Congratulations to our award winners this year: Freddy Paige, Emon Green, Justine Dean, Omer Ahmed, and Nate Carter.

Lastly, a big round of applause to all the sessions and workshop facilitators for their invaluable impact on our students. Your knowledge and expertise have inspired and empowered our attendees, leaving a lasting impression that will be carried forward.

Thank you once again to everyone involved in empowering and inspiring our students. Your support and dedication have been instrumental in shaping the future for our community.

With sincere appreciation,
